If you’re looking to update your fall wardrobe with a few of the latest trends; here are some items you might want to check out:
- Checked Boyfriend Blazer
- Roll Neck
- Booties
- Jeans that aren’t skinny
- Bucket bag
I’ve been living in these 5 items the past month. Mixing and matching them with other things.
First up the blazer. Go for an oversized/boyfriend cut to bring the look up to date. Checks are big this fall, and there are loads of gorgeous fall colours too that you can choose from.
Roll-necks are great as it gets colder. I went for classic black, but again they are lots of different colours in this season, reds, mustard yellows and burgundies.
Booties are always a good idea in Fall. I’m currently alternating between these sock boots and my Chloe ankle boots.
Jeans that aren’t skinny are the biggest change you can make to update your wardrobe. I have these Girlfriend jeans which I love! The fit is tighter around the bottom and then loose around the leg and high-waisted, which is my favourite fit for jeans.
Bucket bags started off being a hit this summer and have moved in to fall in the form of leather bags replacing the summer basket bags. I got this one from Zara here.
These are my top tips for key 5 basics to invest in this fall. You don’t have to wear them together like I have here, you can mix them up with items you’ve already got in your wardrobe too!
Oh Lisa, you are soooo right! A checked blazer is a must-have this year 🙂 Okay, all the other things, too. And I noticed that I need another bucket bag 😉
Have a wonderful day :*
