Recently Steve and I have been heading out for brunch instead of dinner in the evenings. This is largely due to the pregnancy and me being super tired by the time it reaches 6 pm! My go-to outfit currently is a summer dress. The longer the better!
Summer Dresses Fit and Style
I’ve been determined not to buy too many maternity clothes whilst pregnant. Instead, I’m favouring wearing dresses with elasticated waists that I will then be able to wear once the baby is born. Fit and flare under the bust summer dresses that fall over the bump are the most flattering on me at the moment. I’m also loving the long floral button down trend happening this season.
As I usually do when accessorizing outfits in the summer months I go for my neutrals and tans. I find they complement lighter colours and floral patterns nicely. At the moment I still feel comfortable wearing heels and wedges so I’m going with that for now. I’m sure I’ll come to a point when I am bigger and feel less balanced in a heel!
There is such a great Brunch scene here in New York. I plan on sharing with you where Steve and I have been recently in a separate post.
